We are doing more for our members in the 2020 Rebate Program. We have raised the amount of rebates per residential home up to a combined total of $1200. This will allow a member with 2 old heating systems to be able to receive rebates for replacing both. We have raised the dollar amounts on most types of systems and also on electric water heaters. We will continue the AC tuneup rebates for service done in the months of May, June or July, 2020. Cimarron Electric is committed to helping our members to make wise energy choices, conserve electricity and save money. Using these rebates can help to take the bite out of your bills for heating and cooling.

Overview of Rules

Only Cimarron Electric Members qualify for residential rebates on homes that we serve electricity. Equipment must be new (except for AC Tune ups). A copy of sales slip of purchase, with your name, date and serial numbers must be submitted with new equipment along with a completed copy of our 2020 rebate form. Name, Address, Acct. # and phone # must be submitted on the form.

Geothermal Heat Pump, new home or replacements – $600
Air Source Heat Pump, dual fuel allowed – $500
Mobil home approved heat pump, dual fuel allowed and air conditioners – $400
Central air conditioner Systems – $300
Ductless mini split Heat Pump, 2 ton or larger – $400
1.5 ton or less – $250
AC Summer Tune up – $50
Service must be performed in months of May, June or July.
Electric Water Heater – $175
