Accepting Proposals for Staking Engineering Services

Cimarron Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CEC) in Kingfisher, Oklahoma is requesting proposals for staking engineering services for installation of new electric services for local members of Cimarron Electric Cooperative, Inc and rebuilding of existing facilities to upgraded sizes for additional capacity and/or strengthening and hardening.

The project requires staking engineering services as needed based on Cimarron Electric Cooperative Inc. member requests and capacity requirements for Cimarron Electric Cooperative, Inc.  to handle additional member growth, system upgrades, and system equipment installations. Services will include, but are not :

  • Designing, surveying and staking electric distribution lines in accordance with CEC, RUS and Oklahoma DOT regulations.
  • Preparing and/or interpreting staking sheets, work sketches, system maps and all other records required to ensure the most effective and efficient construction procedures and specifications.
  • Post-construction inspection of distribution line as needed.
  • Make ready studies for third party pole attachments.

Staking services must be completed utilizing NISC’s Staking Software. The prospective contractor must be familiar or be able to quickly familiarize with NISC’s Staking Software.  Contractor must generate staking sheets and associated materials within NISC’s Staking Software. Software access will be provided by CEC. Hardware (likely laptops and/or tablets) must be provided by contractor. Cybersecurity is of upmost importance to CEC, and all CEC data shall be treated as confidential information, additional information regarding cyber and data procedures will be provided

Cimarron Electric Cooperative ensures that small business enterprises (SBE), minority business enterprises (MBE) and women’s business enterprises (WBE) are used to the fullest extent possible. Cimarron Electric Cooperative will require that each bidder fully comply with the requirements, terms, and conditions of the Federal policy 2 CFR part 215 and award a fair share of sub-agreements to SBE’s, MBE’s, and WBE’s.
