Mark began working for Cimarron Electric members in 1998 and has worked in Member Services, Accounting and Financial Planning at the co-op, before he was promoted to CEO in 2009.
In addition to leading Cimarron Electric, Snowden serves on many committees for our statewide organization, the Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives. and our G & T, Western Farmers Electric Cooperative.
Mark Snowden served on the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation’s (CFC) Board of Directors over District 8, which comprises Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, and Oklahoma
Snowden was elected to serve as a director of the National Cooperative Services Corporation (NCSC). He will represent the NCSC District 5 which includes the states of Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Mark and his wife Karen, have been blessed with three children. Church, community and school activities round out the busy schedule.
