Rodney Johnson makes Journeyman Lineman
Rodney Johnson just completed the Northwest Certifications Program of the Northwest Lineman’s College. He is now a Journeyman Lineman!
Rodney began working at Cimarron Electric on May 24th of 2011 in the warehouse. The following days and weeks were full of overtime for Rodney. This was when we had the tornados that hit an area from El Reno to Piedmont to Guthrie.
Rodney wanted to be a lineman. He began his training as an apprentice lineman. After years of classroom and on the job training and testing, he has completed all the steps and training required to get his certification. Rodney is now classified as a Journeyman Lineman by the Department of Labor. He now joins our present 17 Journeyman Linemen, and a brotherhood of past Journeyman Linemen at Cimarron Electric Cooperative. When you see Rodney, tell him congratulations for all his hard work in accomplishing this goal. Rodney and his wife Desirae live in Kingfisher with their two children, Addison and Rylee.
